- Jean Chappell (WV), Associate Dean in the Division of Allied Health, Marshall Community and Technical College in West Virginia, received a $220,000 grant from the WV Council for Community and Technical College Education for the development of a Clinical Assistant/Point of Care Technician Program under the Technical Program Development Grant Program. This is a 3 year grant from 7-1-07 to 7-1-2010.

- Rebecca Boyer-Andersen (DE) and Don Lehman (DE) published an article in the September 10 edition of Advance for Medical Laboratory Professionals on the plague.
- Steve Snow (DE) and Don Lehman (DE) published an article in the May 7 edition of Advance for Medical Laboratory Professionals on vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
- Nadine Fydryszewski (NJ) inducted into the Alpha Mu Tau Fraternity
- Sharon Strauss (PA) elected as Junior Board Member of Alpha Mu Tau Fraternity. Sharon was also nominated from Pennsylvania for the national ASCLS Member of the Year
- Scott Aikey (PA) the ASCLS President-elect
- Bill Hunt (PA) and Nadine Fydryszewski (NJ) were the chair and vice-chair for the 2007 ASCLS annual meeting
